Remove the bracket from the back of the alarm by sliding the alarm.
After choosing a suitable location for the CO alarm, press the bracket on the ceiling or wall and mark the positions of the two screw holes. Drill two Ø5.0mm holes vertically at the marked position, then insert the plastic insert into the hole, install the bracket and tighten the screws.
Align the groove on the bracket, snap the alarm into the bracket, and then slide to o the left until the alarm is completely locked with the bracket.
To test the alarm, press the test button,When the alarm is powered on for the first time, the LCD will display “888PPM”, while the buzzer sounds with the red light flashing, and then the alarm enters a 10-second countdown. After the countdown, the LCD screen goes out. Then the green LED blinks once every 30 seconds to indicate that the unit is operating normally.
LED indicator Operation:
Green LED: The green LED flashes every 30 seconds to indicate the unit is operating properly
Red LED: When a dangerous level of carbon monoxide is detected the red LED will flashes and the alarm pattern will sound.
Peak Level Memory:
When the screen is off, press the test button on the alarm, the red indicator light flashes, the LCD screen lights up, and the peak value of the latest alarm state is displayed. This means that the detector has alarmed before. Please troubleshoot potential CO in a timely manner.Re-pressing the test button clears the peak and returns to normal.
